Certifications
Kongshavn Industri is certified according to the environmental management standard ISO 14001:2015, the quality management standard ISO 9001:2015, and the occupational health and safety management standard ISO 45001:2018. Additionally, the management system is certified according to the welding standard ISO 3834-2
Kongshavn Industri AS, Kongshavn Marine AS and Noren Bergen AS shall further develop and maintain an effective quality system for the companies and in accordance with relevant standards, laws, rules and regulations. Participation and conferencing as well as compliance with relevant requirements must be carried out by the companies and are a fixed part of the management's review. The quality system shall be a management tool.
Management is committed to creating the greatest possible understanding of the quality system by informing, providing training, and motivating so that the system becomes the main tool at all levels in the organization.
Continuous improvement shall be a regular topic during management review and at the company's HSE-meetings.
We shall meet every customer's needs, quality, and expectations.
It is an obligation to facilitate a safe and health-promoting working environment to prevent injuries and impaired health. We work closely with the company's OHS. Zero injuries is our overall goal, and we will create trust with our customers and security with our employees.
Kongshavn Gruppen must comply with laws, regulations and ethical rules. For us, HSE is the most important internal area both in the office and in the workshop, and HSE is a line responsibility throughout the organization.
Employees must be involved in the design, implementation and follow-up of Kongshavn Gruppen's systematic health, safety and environmental work. The companies shall have safety representatives and the safety representative at KI shall be the coordinator for the three safety representatives.
Continuous improvement is an essential part of a company's HSE policy. Everyone is responsible for their own safety.
Protective equipment must be available to our own employees and visitors. We will sort waste at source and reduce the amount of waste and optimize our use of resources.
All used chemicals, as well as residues, must be placed in a separate locked container for chemical waste, which is regularly collected for destruction. Data sheets must be stored electronically and as a copy in the production premises.
Kongshavn shall follow an environmental standard that supports the development of the environment and natural resources. Management has the overall responsibility for ensuring that environmental management is followed up and for communicating the requirements of the company's environmental policy to all employees. This involves, among other things:
- Taking the environment into account when choosing raw materials, chemicals, and other products that have a harmful impact on the environment..
- Operating with a focus on minimal environmental impact on both the internal and external environment.
- Setting requirements for our suppliers of raw materials, input factors, and services, as we do for our own operations.
- Complying with laws and regulations.
Management must create a commitment among employees to protect the external environment. The management achieves this by showing commitment and by making it a topic at HSE meetings and HSE evenings.
We must ensure that none of our companies pollute the external environment.
Work with continuous improvements and ensure that all environmental work is characterized by openness towards our employees, customers, etc. which is in the company's interest.
Ensure that all our employees receive ongoing information and training to be able to perform their work tasks in a correct environmental manner.
