In early December, Kongshavn Industri successfully completed the FAT for our DOPNET (Dropped Object Protection). An innovative and smart solution that protects the area between and under the pipe deck and the drilling tower. The main goal of this project is ultimately to protect personnel, hydrocarbon-carrying pipes, and other equipment from falling objects. DOPNET was custom-made, delivered to KCA Deutag, and will be installed on the Gullfaks B platform in the North Sea.
